One thing to watch out for if you use e-schwab --

Not all stocks are created equal for margin purposes - i.e., you can't assume that any stock above $5 will be marginable.

Case in point - I bought 2000 RMII on Thursday, and found a margin call today - RMII is not marginable at Schwab. Not a big deal in this case since the call is for a small amount, but you could get your toes in a wringer if you decided to use margin aggressively.

I don't see any where on their site a list of these non-marginable stocks.
