hi jsc, and thread, i'm also thinking of upgrading to w98. already have the 2nd monitor. here are a couple questions... does w98 (and the subsequent addition of 2nd monitor) use more system resources? i'm guessing yes, it has to, right? i read that w98 saves time by starting apps up to 38% faster than w95. any opinions? just advertising, or some truth? final question is most important... i said i already have 2nd monitor. it is connected to another pc right next to me. i'd like to set it up so that i can run both monitors from one pc, PLUS, at other times run the 2nd monitor from the other pc. what will i need to do that? appreciate any info you can provide. :) mark
