I received and forwarded erroneous information on the selling of securities for profits in l999. Although this information came from a Senior VP at a major firm, I should have looked at it more carefully. In sum, one can sell for a loss or sell for a gain in l998 up until this Thursday the 31st. A buy on the 29th will push the settlement date into l999. Sorry for any concerns that this created. Bad day all around for me as I was stopped out of my short on AOL. The parabolism continues. WHAT A COUNTRY!
