TR3 Complexity

Not sure if this is a good thing or not....

I am part way (maybe 1/2) through TR3, and have to say that it is very complicated, much more so than 2 or 1. Enough to make you want to give up on it.
The downside is that this may make (through word of mouth) sales harder to come by; on the other hand, it may 'encourage' people to buy the strategy guides, thereby effectively increasing the cost of the game by maybe $10(for those without the ability or knowhow to get the solves off the net) and obviously increasing profits as well.

Its not just me, there are 'mutterings' on usenet, so my general ineptitude is not the reason I can say its too hard! There are also some unpleasant bugs that can be solved by a patch - not an option for PSX owners. Eidos must test longer and better with TR4.

FWIW, PC World in the UK has TR3 as No 1, with good displays of Thief and Gangsters in the 'just' released section.
