Paul, Re: "SHorty O'Neill has lost more than his mind - assuming that hever had one to lose."

Be careful or he may drag some more Fleckenstein in here, or Peck or Burke or maybe he can find some other K guy. Kurlak finally saw the light, although it might have blinded him for good.

About Peck, he said something like Intel would have to double their revenues by, was it, 2002, to justify their current stock price to him. Yet, today, his employer, S.G. Cowen upgrades Cisco to strong buy. Cisco is selling for 65 times next year's estimated First Call (7/99) earnings and 53 times 7/00 earnings. Intel is at 36.4 this year (12/98) est. and 28.8 times 12/99 earnings. I think Cisco is a very well run company in a white hot market, but Intel is not exactly chopped liver and looks to be taking off again sales and earnings-wise. Cisco is not worth nearly twice Intel WRT eps. I guess Peck is next in the Pecking order for P***erheads.
