A question that I have never received a good answer to(IMO) is this; If God is all powerful and can achieve anything, why would he ever resort to punishment and torture? If the outcome is assured, regardless of the method, why choose torture? Why choose to be fearful, revengeful, merciless, or any other punitive or damaging aspect, when you can accomplish the same thing with love and/or understanding?
Mark it's called a FREE WILL. This shows the greatness of God....... God does not wish such but we do it to ourselves our choices are our own......... Without a Free Will we would be just robots this is NOT what God wants. Also God should NOT be questioned for he is our ultimate Father. This is not a black and white issue Grace plays an important part (Something that Emilio lacks). Also no matter what pain one goes through it can't conquer death....... Pain is temporary eternal life is forever I will gladly take the pain and the learning process to achieve eternal life with the Lord. You do not learn without pain and you do not become wise without an authority in ones life. What better authority than the creator of all that is around us. Without an authority or the written word mans quest for perfection will be futile........
1Cor:4:6: And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
Just my thoughts..............
