Thanks, I agree that buy and hold is probably the best way and less stressful way of investing. I personally have about 75-80% in stocks holding from 1-months to 1 year. I occassionally get in and out of a stocks when fundamental or market changes. I consider myself as a short to medium term investor. I normally will buy the stock after studying it by using both fundamental and technical analysis. I am not always right at all.

However, after I bought a stock and whenever I think if it has a big run coming (momentum). I'll use my other 20-25% of cash to invest in options. So I normally have both stocks and options working. I leave my stocks along for longer term but use option to maximize my gain and for quick profit. Lately, I have been using this style with AMAT since Nov (own stocks and have Dec 30c, Jan 35c and now Apr 50c). I actually gained more money from AMAT options than from stock. I am just beginning to do the same with IFMX bought stocks at 22, and bought some May 25 calls last week.

FYI and glad you're interested in option trading too.
Alex
