Heyy Don,
This was said to someone ( at the meeting if memory serves me, or a phone call around that time) post his coming on as a Board member, to my knowledge he is not an employee. The late great Arthur Ashe and many others served on the board of multiple companies that had nothing directly to do with his/their area of expertise, its just one of those things kind of like an honorary degree.,, B
