Alan,
Once again, thanks for your thoughts.

<<If one will not conform to the Father than rehabilitation is fruitless.>> IMO, this is not true my friend. If one was already conforming, rehabilitation would not be necessary. You can only rehabiliate something that needs rehabilitating. That is the whole point. If one commits mortal sin, he is in more need of rehabilitating than punishment. Punishment provides retibution or revenge, rehabliitation provides a soul that is on the right path. Which is more desirable?

<<Again freedom of choice (free will) is what God created he does not wish for fake love only true love and that is something you cannot teach it has to come within.>>

You are saying that if God desired to teach that, he would be unable?
I disagree.

<<This is a very complicated issue and I would rather ask God to show me the truth SINCERELY and submit my sin to him (asking for forgiveness) thats a good first step in seeing things from a different view point....>>
I certainly have no problem with your doing that, and wouldnt ask you to do otherwise. However, I still dont understand why god would ever choose torture over love. there are only certain things that torture can achieve more effectively than love, retribution and revenge. given that god can achieve anything, why would he choose torture?

Mark
