Paul: Oh my gosh, I forgot about them! Well, now that I know where to get the real story, I'll never be wrong again. Barry ps On Monday night I had a rather interesting chance meeting with an extremely informed AMD insider. I didn't know of his connection until he joined in the discussion I was having with a mutual friend about Intel and he joined in our conversation, explaining his close connection to them to me then. We discussed AMD's (and Cyrix's too) potential in the real world vis a vis Intel, and I think I used all the arguments I've heard you express here. At least I tried to. When I argued about their lack of capacity and financial resources in order to do anything really significant in the marketplace, he countered with a story of a AMD plant being planned to be built shortly in East Germany with significant German government money and influence smoothing the way. Do you know anything about this? Barry
