Intel will continue with their "segmentation" strategy ... Katmai will come
out at 500mhz while Intel will also "bump up" the Celeron to 450mhz. This
strategy will continue to "force" AMD to have the K6-2/3 compete pricewise
against the Celeron ... This leaves the Katmai to collect the high ASP's. The
"real race" will be for who gets to the .18um process first. This will
determine who has the fastest processors AND highest ASP's.
