Pravin, tech marches on, thanks for reference. One now wonders why AMD persists? are they too far down that path with the Alpha that it would cost too much in eaten crow or wasted tech time/$ to abandon it? Or does the alpha have unique advantages that need the slot type architecture? One would like to think that AMD would abandon a blind alley sooner than later. Bill
