Reiterate strong buy recommendation....CPU

Despite CPU's poor short-term performance, I still consider the stock grossly undervalued and continue to accumulate.

Historically, CPU stock has been a poor performer in the winter followed by a strong upturn in the following year.

CPU's business is cyclical. The objections and concerns raised by many here haven't really changed in the past few years...yet CPU continues to eliminate competitors and dominate the computer software and hardware retail segment.

The pricing and PR attacks by other discount retailers such as Best Buy are an annoyance at best. The real story here is that CPU continues to aggressively expand its higher margin operations such as training and internet sales while investors and analysts fret about lower ASPs.

CPU *IS* an "internet" stock and has been for a long time. Not only that...it's an internet stock with $6 Billion in sales and growing. It is absurd to believe that management is not building its online strategy.

I believe that CPU will not only trade significantly higher in 1999, I also expect it to surpass its all-time high.
