Ram, you raise a very interesting question!! Why wouldn't Oracle strike an alliance with Reasoning Inc.? Since one of their big haunchos(Chou) used to work for Oracle and is now at Reasoning Inc.

<<<<<Byron,
<TPII, is under the wings of ORACLE. Don't be shaken, get ready for the explosion!yes I'm BULLISH> Are you trying to hype this stock up or do you know something significant about the Oracle relationship ? ie. why do you think it is more than the usual token alliance between companies.

Also in an earlier post someone mentioned a Silicon Valley based transformation company headed by Jimmy Treybig and a former VP of Oracle. I would imagine that this ex-Oracle VP would also strike up an alliance with Oracle.

Ram>>>>>>>>

Here is a segment from the previous Reasoning Inc. article:

Chou joined Reasoning from Oracle Corporation, where, as Vice President, Server Products Group, he was responsible for delivering Oracle Enterprise Server, Oracle Workgroup Server and the Oracle Universal Server on UNIX and NT. Chou holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois and has taught computer science at Stanford University for the last 15 years.

Ram,

First off, since Chou worked for Oracle and was a great asset to the Oracle company, don't you think it would be in Reasoning's best interest to cotinue to network with Oracle and build an alliance with Oracle???

You would probably answer yes!! Well, I would assume that Oracle was aware of Reasoning's software capabilities, wouldn't you say?? Yes! They would have to. You would think that Chou would want the 2nd largest software company in the world to know what Reasoning Inc. is doing with the transformation of Legacy systems to open systems!! Wouldn't you? I would.

So, my conclusion is this! That Oracle knew what Reasoning offered and went with TPII anyway!!! This alliance between TPII and Oracle is larger then ever if my assumptions are true. But Ram, you raised the question. I saw the caption in the article and thought about it for a second, but never this deeply. I think TPII has an edge over this powerhouse, Reasoning Inc. from the Silicon Valley. We shall see!!

Let me know what you think about these assumptions!

Matt
