Here are a few remarks from the The Trader's Tribune-Dec 28,1998 that relates to why DGIV is such an important stock to be in. "The improvements in productivity and cost efficiencies that the Internet will provide can be the foundations for emerging nations to leapfrog their way into the 21st Century and catch up with the developed World. The tumbling cost of communications all over the World will be the greatest contributor to global growth in the future, which has in many ways been contained or restricted by the high costs of doing business in the past. In exactly the same way the falling cost of oil and gasoline in the coming years is going to lead to greater prosperity and cheaper inter-continental and well as local travel, the end result being the World becoming smaller thanks to enhanced communications."
