The conflict between the Church and the "Synagogue of Satan" is a conrflict for the souls of mankind.

Soon after the Resurrection of Christ, two opinions and visions of the life of Christ began to spread over the earth. One vision came from the Jewish followers of Christ, the vision of Light and Life, and the other from his Jewish opponents, the vision of darkness and death. The nation of Israel was divided between the followers of God-Christ-, on the one hand, and the opponents of God, on the other. One faction sought to proclaim Christ as Saviour and King of mankind, the other to fabricate fables and myths to undermine his mission. The Church, the Body of Christ, taught the truth, but the "Synagogue of Satan". the new antichrist Judaism, spread its myths and fables. This division between the forces of Life, and the forces Death, between the Children of God and the "Synagogue of Satan", initiated the universal conflict between Christ and antichrist.
One vision establishes Jesus as Lord and King reigning with His Church, the other establishes antichrist Judaism as Lord and king, reigning through worldly and carnal mechanisms over Gods' inheritance.

Soon after the Resurrection, conflict between the Church and the "Synagogue of Satan" took on violent proportions. The "Synagogue of Satan" soon began persecuting and killing the followers of Christ, the New Covenant Israel. The first martyr in this spiritual conflict was the deacon St. Stephen. Soon after St. Stephen was murdered, they conspired to also murder St. Paul, but failed.
Christianity has historically remembered the martyrdom of St. Stephen during the first week after the celebration of the birth of Christ. Soon after St. Stephen was murdered, they conspired to also murder St. Paul, but failed.

1. Stephen murdered.

Acts 7
51: Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52: Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53: Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54: When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
55: But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56: And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
57: Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
58: And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
59: And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60: And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

2. Persecution and attempted murder of Paul.

Acts 23
12: And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
13: And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.

3. Jesus foretells of the persecution and martyrdom of the Church.

[Mat 10:17] Beware of men; for they will deliver you up to councils, and flog you in their synagogues,
[Mat 10:18] and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony before them and the Gentiles.
[Mat 10:19] When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour;
[Mat 10:20] for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
[Mat 10:21] Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death;
[Mat 10:22] and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

When we choose to deny the Word of God and the history of the Church because of the fear of the "Syanagogue of Satan", we have chosen to deny Christ. Christ, his Church, and his Word, are all ONE.
The wrath of the world, and the wrath of the Synagogue of Satan is a sure sign that we are fighting on the right side.
