Hi,

Why dont people call dbc when the service quits? I just cant figure out how you sit and stare at dead quotes and do nothing about it. Yesterday when the quotes died I called dbc, got through in 27 minutes, and told them the quotes were not updating. Fortunately I got Denise (she actually knows what she is doing and is very helpful) and she signed in as me over their dial up account and saw the same thing. This confirmed the problem and they passed it along to the network staff there. She said I was the first person to call about the problem, though one other tech got the same complaint while she was checking the problem. After that it was fixed in about ten minutes.

The point is they dont know when they have a problem until users let them know. Just watching your monitor doesnt fix the problem, you have to let call them! The tech number is 800 762 7538 - and you want to press 3 for tech support.

It would be nice if they would monitor their own connection, but they dont, so it is up to us. Having their quotes go dead for 27 minutes without their knowing proves this is the problem.
