Dan, Here is why we are not understanding each other( I think). I am talking about the state of your soul after you die. you free will is no longer an issue, since you are no longer practicing it. You are now just a soul, standing before God. god cn banish you to hell(eternal torture) or he can just as easily rehabilitate your soul. which should he do and why? What function does having you etrnal soul burn in hell perform that rehabilitation of your soul doesnt perform better? what function does torture serve beter than love? this is after you die.... I am not talking about what is happening to you now, during your life. Mark
