Cascade,

I think the fueling infrastructure problem for fuel cell vehicles will more likely be solved by using CNG in 3 ways:

1. With something like 70 million buildings serviced by natural gas in the U.S., natural gas could be compressed overnight into a fuel cell vehicle CNG tank. That would give almost instant infrastructure for home based travel for a natural reformer supplied fuel cell vehicle using the same reformer technology as Plug Power or Energy Partners.

2. Many natural gas distribution companies in the U.S. have started to establish CNG refueling stations in the metropolitan cities to service their CNG vehicle fleet.

3. The North Island in New Zealand has had a rule for 15 years or so that any new filling station there has to have a CNG pump to service the CNG cars there. About 1/3 of the cars in the North Island there are CNG.

Bruce.
