I see what you are saying. Right about here is where we as humans cannot IMO answer for God. I just do not believe we can. I do not believe He wants us to. Look at your question.
God cn banish you to hell(eternal torture) or he can just as easily rehabilitate your soul. which should he do and why?
((Which should he do and why?))) Whoa my friend. Am I God? No.Am I the Creator? No. Why do you suppose that as a human I should be able to answer that? Am I anyone that I can tell God what He should do or not do? It is answerable only by God IMO. I can pray and ask God to reveal answers to me, or lead me to His Word for revelation, but I am not God and I do not see all.
I know you think I am saying to you, "Shut up and accept it", but that is not what I am saying. My best advice to you would be since none of us humans can answer your question is take it to the source. Start to pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If you have an open heart, and are not out to "test" God Almighty, I believe He will reveal himself to you. He already has to a great degree in the person of His Son. And we have that written to examine and pray over. OPEN HEART MARK.
The bible says "in HIM is no darkness".... does that sound like something you would want to know about?
I heard something(it may have been a poem I can't remember) about a man who always asked, "God? why is this so? and why is that so? and I have a million questions for You when I see You in heaven." when the man died, he went to heaven. And in heaven the man said " Yes, yes, yes, Praise God Almighty."
