Dan,
<<(Which should he do and why?))) Whoa my friend. Am I God? No.Am I the Creator? No. Why do you suppose that as a human I should be able to answer that? Am I anyone that I can tell God what He should do or not do? It is answerable only by God IMO>>
I am not asking you to answer for God. I am only asking for your opinion as to why you think things are this way. To me, it doesn't make sense. We are only having a friendly discussion, and not setting celestial policy. If we were doing that, I would definitley have to consult Shirley before proceeding any further:-)
The reason that I think these questions are important, is because I think it supports the concept of there actually being no hell, no eternal punishment, no God that favors banishing your soul to an eternal hell over creating the evnvironment for your soul to grow and evolve.
Obviously these are not questions that we can answer definitively. Yes, you can quote the Bible, and I can reiterate my beliefs and state why I think they are so. But that is not proof in and of itself. I know you believe the bible to be proof in and of itself, and I have no pronblem with you believing that. It is not proof to those that dont believe as you do. I am not saying either way is right or wrong, just a matter of perception.
