Yeah but is it still architected as a part of the Tandem proprietary operating system? I know something about Nonstop SQL. For those that dont know, at one point it existed as a part of the operating system - NSql had its own sbb algorithm different from the sbb stuff if you were using the Tandem file system etc. That was its real strength... however a database that only exists as a part of a proprietary operating system became somewhat useless in the 90s. So, what good is it now? BTW Jim Gray was on that team who is now with msft - Im sure you know that (assuming you arent Jim Gray - rofl!)
