BRIEF: Swank manufactures, sells and distributes men's
jewelry, belts, leather accessories & suspenders and women's
jewelry, all available worldwide through retailers. For the
nine months ended 9/98, net sales rose 15% to $104.8M. Net
income totalled $1.2M, up from $467K. Revenues reflect
increases in domestic sales of women's Guess? jewelry and
men's leather belts licensed under new designer labels.
Earnings reflect decreased S/G/A as a percentage of sales.
