Jack: You write: My guess is that there will be some global turmoil... No Kidding! Like on every continent but this one, luckily for us. Good for gold, I'm dubious. Good for oil, possibly. Platinum however has its own set of fundamentals which are much more favorable than those for gold IMO. But until Japan turns up, PGM's will be soft I would suspect, unless inflation unexpectedly rears itself. But right now it appears we're entering another "D" era. Whether its just disinflation, deflation or depression, only time will tell. I agree, it won't be over in Iraq until we get serious (or lucky) and take out Saddam. He is obviously a few tacos short of a full meal. Regards, Jeff
