Glenn: Thank you very much for the DLJ analysis of AMZN. I am anxiously awaiting your thoughts on the analysis when you have time.
One thing that strikes me in the analysis is the assumption that only AMZN has the ability to implement this unique business model. I just cannot imagine retailing giants like Wal-mart will sit back and watch
AMZN make all this money without coming up with a viable competitive plan. The DLJ analyst makes it sound like the war is over and AMZN has been declared the victor. It surely sounds IAW this analyst that BKS and
BGP are not even going to make an effort to compete with AMZN in the on line arena. Never the less very interesting reading. It provides some understanding as to why many investor think AMZN is a sure winner.
