Daniel,

I have been a subscriber to JD for about 3 years and an SI subscriber for about 2. I mostly just look at posts and rarely write any to this or other discussion forums. You seem to have knowledge about the market (much more than me). I have generally done well with JD's stocks except for CSRE, SME, LSI and of course CPPKY. Luckily I sold some at a profit before he recommended selling.

Last year I mistakenly invested in some OTC BB stocks on recommendations from a full service broker and other "experts" (not JD), and lost a bundle on paper. I've learned from the experience and won't repeat that again. I plan on selling these stocks over several years to offset gains (hopefully) with losses.

The question I have is this:

Since I don't have a lot of money to invest, would it be a good idea to buy less than 100 shares of several stocks (say about 20 shares each of maybe 10 different stocks) for companies I research (with or without JD's help)?

I only have about $20k to invest. I would appreciate your opinion and those of others as well.

Happy New Year and may 1999 be a profitable year.
