John: Tape Reader buy rec. around Dec.3rd. Message 6661657 This upward move is becoming a little too much, makes me nervous. However, compared to the internet stocks, AGPH has real and expanding earnings and a solid future. If CSCO can maintain a 100pe, can Agouron with its growth potential maintain a 100pe? Maybe. Something to watch out for is the approval of the Vertex PI. I don't think it will dramatically affect sales of Viracept but could add some uncertainty to expectations and might change sentiment some. It is expected almost any time. Short term players beware. If we could blow out a majority of the shorts with this move, I think it would enhance stability in the stock price. I also suspect we are getting closer to an attractive ( for Agouron ) buy out price. I hope they don't sell out. Bill
