Hi C L
Good postings from all sides today.
Nail on head, of course, is still BD for all the players, little and big. Personally, after three years mostly filled with intense doubt, i have gotten past critical mass from standpoint of science and people. With "heavyweights" like TSE and AZ bureau, TNM in broad derision, most but not all local assay/mining types dis- believing, with misfirings ala Knelson Conc exercise, with wildly gyrating shareprices, with two suspensions, anyone still here is either "half a bubble short of plumb" or has done the requisite work (internal and external) and put up with a lot of pain. Time will tell which, and not much time at that. In the next 2-3 months all the big questions will be answered.
While it is nice to have a visible gold fund, particularly one like Midas with its extraordinary record of excellent returns in a basically lousy sector environment, to be "on board", today any fund positions are likely "on spec". Midas is there "early" which is central to the big returns if this or any unproved elephant works. For all of us.....BD, for better or worse, is still central, for most everything, including actual "investment positioning" by fund investors (who will pay up .. they will have to "show the name" if this works out or be seen as 'dunces', God forbid)
Personally, btw, i have no doubt, but that took 3 full yrs, one day at a time. Two mini-"psychological" points, incidentally: I was kind of impressed, the day the name got suspended so many years ago, by the dignity shown by Le Furlong in dealing with the .. what?.. RAGE that was being hurled on him from every direction. That really began my own quest. On the other side, the complete easy complacency and lack of any respect, much less real work from the key detractors.. I got to a point where, comparing the effort levels, i decided many "experts" couldn't find a bead of sweat, much less a bead of gold....but I rant. Fact is, if Le proves this.. ..it is the seminal juncture, the key development of the century in the precious metals industry, period. No mean (or simple) feat.
Also GPGI seems to be producing platinum currently, if i read their press correctly.
