The Intel/Lockheed/CHPS graphics chip will never replace all the current chips. There is too much expertise out there in all the other companies for them to not keep up with or surpass Intel/Lock/CHPS. It may take the 3 of them twice as long to get something out, working together, compared with any of the other companies working by themselves. It seems like the more hands in a project, the longer it takes to get something done, if it ever gets done at all.
