HellQat, Good post. I don't really see the reason for all the fuss either. My take on the situation is there are some further delays (last half '98 until 1st quarter '98), which hopefully will not be a big deal.

The fuss for many seems to be coming to terms with the fact that the "inside knowledge" is wrong again and contracts may not be a week or two away.

I agree contract discussions may continue to take place while remaining problems are resolved but I would assume nobody is going to sign a contract until they've had a chance to test production samples, which will not be provided until the line has completed safety testing. That implies to me we are still months, not weeks away from contracts.

Is this a big deal? Maybe not if the remaining problems are small. Maybe so if the remaining problems are not so small and VLNC must go to the financing well yet again.
