The key to this stock appears to be in getting ISP cooperation, services and pricing.

To use AOL, Prodigy and CompuServe as analogies...

CompuServe was the leader for years. They had the most information resources/services and reliable connection numbers and were low priced.

Prodigy was similar, but was the first to have full internet access and thus, made gains.

AOL was an upstart with fewer resources, access numbers and was not quick to grant full internet. What they did do was pepper the landscape with free access software. Their software was also very user friendly. A plus if you want to target center of mass to the American public.

As subscribers within their "broadcast/connection" area increased, they gained the financial resources to increase access numbers and push into more geographic area. Very military.

Likewise, USRF needs to spread out with more ISPs, and make their service simple to use as dialing a cellphone.

The wireless serices that has the most ISP support can also have bragging rights to the greatest user-base. This leads to word-of-mouth reputation.

Right now, I'm not playing any of these wireless stocks because I still unsure of their authenticity. Does anyone here use the product? Does it do what it claims? Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch both follow the rule of "invest in what you know".
