Hi Steve: I still think the basing area is 40-42, but I would be willing to expand it to 43. The "breakout" above 42 on the 18th was on lousy volume (not a true "breakout" - more like "fakeout"), so I thought/said from the beginning that it would most likely fail. At this point, I would still consider 42 to be the breakout point - but volume is everything. You'll notice that on the breakout from the old 34 basing area that we sold off for 2 days just before taking off - the old "shakeout before the breakout". I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen again in this base situation. We also need a catalyst, which I've been assuming will be earnings. Now that earnings look to be nearer the end of Jan., I hope the catalyst will be something else - but hasn't everyone already upgraded CPQ???
