I decided (about an hour before I got the same Street Life email) that the trick right now is to find good companies, with recognizable names, that DON'T have e-tailing yet, buy them now, and just wait for either actual on-line purchase capability, or the mention that they are going to do it. Then, ride the ridiculous 300-1800% wave that is sure to follow. You would only have to hit one or two of these to make up for 10 that never hit. Even the ones that never hit aren't going to lose money, so all you're out is your commission (which is only $8 is you're smart).

This phenomenon isn't going to last forever, so you may as well get rich off it while it's here.

p.s. I just submitted my response in preview mode. I wonder when SI is going to add e-tailing and email to their dictionary?
