NBG RADIO NETWORK AND AUDIOHIGHWAY.COM INK DEAL
PORTLAND, OREGON (December 18, 1998)NBG Radio Network (OTC: NSBD) announced today the signing of an agreement to provide audiohighway.com (NASDAQ: AHWY) audio programming to deliver via the internet.
NBG Radio Network creates and produces entertainment and music related radio programs as well as services for the radio industry. NBG currently produces 29 nationally syndicated radio programs reaching more than 1700 radio stations on a daily basis. Portions of these programs make up the terms of this strategic agreement. NBG Radio Network is committed to producing quality programming, and while the focus remains on serving the radio industry, diversifying into other complementary industries such as the internet ensures continued growth for the Company and our shareholders.
audiohighway.com, an internet-based information and entertainment company, offers its users the ability to preview, select, purchase, download, and own premium selections for storage on virtually any media, from recordable CDs and cassette tapes to personal computer hard drives and removable media. People can visit the web site at www.audiohighway.com and browse or listen to thousands of audio selections from providers including National Public Radio, Newsweek On Air, Associated Press, Penguin Books USA, ESPN, and Compact Classics.
Under terms of the agreement, audiohighway.com will work to incorporate over 300 hours of audio content provided by NBG Radio Network into the audiohighway.com web site. Some of the programs produced on the NBG Radio Network that will show up on the site include: The Golden Age of Radio, Country Music Minute, Celebrity Talk, Modern Rock Minute, Sports Memories, Teein' It Up, Fastbreak, and Outdoor Tips.
