Hi Charles, In Elder's book "Trading for a Living" the recommended moving averages for MACD are 5 and 34. Both of these are exponential. My mention of this to TC earlier simply meant that my WOW chart displays this combo for MACD. Truth be told, I've experimented with many MA combos and I can see where lots of them could be used. Since I don't trade directly from the MACD signal, I just default to Elder's recommendation. Ken
