Dave...I follow about 80 inet/e-commerce stocks under 5.00. Some are direct plays, some side door. Side door plays now getting attention, as are lower priced direct inet stocks. Large caps are getting maxed out and players are coming down to the smallcap/micro cap area to find vehicles for short or near term plays.
It would be very difficult to single out 3 stocks...all these companies are at different stages of development, and their stock patterns are in subjective cycles. Some are played out for now, some just getting noticed, and some just sitting there.
Look at MBTI. I posted it when it was around 2.00 today and it hit an intraday high of 13.00 before closing at 8+. It got noticed<g>. Yet when I posted on it a couple weeks back it ran from 1.50 to 3.00...and two days later hit an intraday low of 1.25. There is just no way to tell in this mkt what is going to work when.
I have other stocks on SI I think are interesting and because of mkt conditions right now most are doing reasonably well. I usually don't post one unless I think it is going to move...if not now then soon.

BUT, my preferences are no better than yours. I do make a lot of phone calls, get about 10 pkgs a week and have been culling stocks for years. None of that means anything unless conditions are right for a particular stock to move. Right now conditions for inet stocks are very good. If I see something that I think is worthwhile I'll throw it up here or on a thread if the stock is already out there, or start a thread...see PCTR for a company with some internet exposure but not all eggs in that basket on WEB/INFO stocks or $5/under.

This party will end at some point but I don't think we are there yet. There is wayyyyyyyyyyy too much money at stake here for years to come...the figures and estimates for the internet and e-commerce just keep rising. All the makings of a bubble down the road somewhere...
