Chuck, if you are good on timing, I'd take the equity loss and aggressively sell DIS 30/35p each month until put to. You'll get the tax loss writeoff, meet the 31-day wash rule and lower your cost basis. I sometimes use this stategy on stocks that I like as long-term investment whose entry I messed up on for various reasons.
