Michael,
For the record I have NEVER advocated that INTC should not split its stock. In fact my feelings are to the contrary. I believe that it does have a positive psychological impact, as has been discused here many times before. In addition, I think the more individuals who own Intel shares, the better. This is especially true in overseas and in developing countries. Every shareholder of INTC or INTCW becomes a potential "Intel Inside" user, and a salesman for this great company.

Michael, while I can only speak for myself, I interpreted Paul E's comments a month ago on the suject of a possible Intel split, as being tongue and cheek. Perhaps Paul could comment on this later, but I have found that his sense of humor is unique, and sometimes can be misconstrued.
