My name is Keith. I bought long into IMAL at 19 7/8 just two days ago. I watched it go down over 2 points since then and rebound to close within 1/8th on the last two days. I sold 200 shares at 19 in a panic on the first day before I realized that short sellers were manipulating the stock on low volume. I now own 800 shares which is about 1/10th of my equity holdings. So you know where I stand.

I just purchased the 12/26/98 S&P report on IMAL from Multex Investor Research. It looks good to me. Because the report is in PDF format I could not cut and paste any of it into this post. The following is the best I could do to bring this report to you for free.

----------------------------------------------------------------
EPS Estimates for 1999 improved to -0.01 from the -1.15 a share in 1998

(F.Y.I. it was -0.64 in 1997 and at that time the trailing EPS was -1.44 so IMAL did better than expected at the beginning of 1998).

Analysts' consensus "BUY" (The chart of estimates over the last 4 months since the S&P has followed it shows a very slight dip in reccomendation at the end of November and an uptrend since but it remains a "BUY" throughout and is a fairly strong "BUY" on the graph.)

Estimated 1999 EPS estimates have remained constant at $-0.01

Estimated 1999 EPS is +115% improvement over 1998 actual EPS

Market Cpatalization = $141,000,000
Shares Outstanding = 7,743,000
% Held by Institutions = 8%

Number of Analysts covering stock = 1
Analyst Ratings = 100% Buy

__Industry Outlook:____________________________________________
..."Our near-term outlook for specialty retailers is neutral Spending should not dry up, however, due to low unemployment rate, increases in disposible income and a still high level of consumer confidence. We expect strong performances for those companies that specialize in products for the home and office."

"We believe that the current economic environment bodes well for specialty retailers. Overall outlook for the economy is for moderate growth, with real GDP projected to advance 3.4% in 1998, and moderating to 1.9% in 1999. Consumer sentiment also remains at very high levels, with the combination of low inflation and low unemployment supporting an optomistic outlook for continued gains in personal income."

"One of the fastest growing areas in specialty retailing has been the 'super-store' These outlets have appealed to customers by offering lower prices and a larger selection than traditional retail stores....Although superstores have been opening by the hundreds in recent years...there is still room for growth."

"...Most are seeking out new channels of distribution via catalog and the Internet as well entering the untapped international marketplace."

My personal opinion is that IMAL is as good a stock as any other Internet play and better than most. I have browsed all of the sites and there are many. Each is unique and each is professionally done. Investor relations on the www.imall.com site has been very helpful informing me about the company and its executives. I especially like the concept behind www.animalhouse.com which is an oline community for college students. You should check it out. You can register just like a college student at your alma mater or favorite school would.

I also like www.stuff.com for online shopping. Overall IMALL Inc. seems to be a great company to invest in. They have a vision, a plan, and they are on their way to achieveing their goal as a cyberspace shopping mall.
