I just changed jobs and transferred my
401k to an eSchwab IRA. The process was
pretty smooth and I was able to get online in
a day. I have made three trades my first week
and they were all handled very well. The
service seems good..... but I think the software
leaves a little to be desired... It is my
understanding that eSchwab internet trading is in
beta and will be available to all customers sometime
this summer????

In comparison, I also have an account with Jack White
which just began Internet trading through the PAWWs site.
I have always liked Jack White... but I recently made a
market order trade where I did not receive any confirmation
(usually I receive it within an hour) so I figure that I
made a mistake on input.... so I reinput the order..within
5 minutes I get a call from a rep at Jack White saying that
I had already executed that trade... I asked why I did
not receive a confirmation and he said they would look into
it... next day I received an email apology from PAWWs...so a
mistake was made, but they had pretty good customer service.
The commissions are the normal Jack White commissions less
10%. So if I am doing 300 shares or less I use my JW account
> 300 I use my eSchwab account
