Newcomer to the boards....Just wanted to add my look at DIS. I think people arent factoring in the true marketing power Disney can provide the GO network. It's Eisner's simple blueprint to ensure that Disney can bring all of its products to the internet market.

Of course, I still think there is a remote chance that DIS could partner with Apple computer (AAPL) at some point. With the iMac showing signs of sustaining the Apple momentum, I see a real connection there that allows Apple to market their computers as the true family computer, backed by Disney marketing and their outreach to families. People will want to write software for the Mac platform knowing Disney will promote it (GO Network anyone?), and Apple will get a much needed credibility boost. After all, with the Disney marketing machine, they could sell just about anything. Families that want the internet and fun software for the kids don't have to get super technical with Windows98…they can buy an iMac and get everything they could ask for in a easy, casual computer.

Who knows...I think getting a DIS position at 30 and socking the shares away might not be a bad idea right now. When the market overheats and people scramble (erroneously or not) to find anyone with revenues and reality behind their internet positions...Disney, AOL, and Microsoft will be standing.

And I dare say that DIS is the cheapest of the three.
