James,

With the performance of this stock over the past 18 months, I think that CS will be bought by someone. Who? I don't know. Maybe LU. But, either way, this company has had a huge marketshare and they are loosing it. You have someone in management (Benson) that has been there for a long time. And, maybe he did a great job years ago. But, times have changed and I think that sometimes it is good to bring in new blood.

Now, I thought that they hired a guy from NT to run the company last year. But, when I looked at the Yahoo site it had Benson running the company. Is that right? If so, what happened to the other guy?

I firmly believe that CS should be bought by someone. Right now they seem to be the best "value" in the market. They have money, resources, products and customer base.

According to Yahoo, it is trading almost at book value. So, if it was going to be bought, I think that a $12-$15 range is appropriate. It appears that this company has got to do something. To have the dominant position it has held in the past and be loosing money every quarter shows me that some drastic changes need to take place.

I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF A PENDING BUYOUT. All it is, is an opinion from a not so bright guy with an opinion of CS.

Hopefully, things will improve soon. But, unless they go through a massive overhaul, I am not holding my breath.
