Nothing is for certain. People shouldnt knock off Apple and an aggressive web idea too quickly. What about Apple hooking up with someone like Disney to generate enthusiasm for a true family PC market. The market for the internet appliance/casual PC is definitely there. Disney's GO Network with Infoseek opens an avenue that could somehow get Apple and most importantly, the Mac OS platform, off its feet and into the mainstream. What developer of software wouldnt write Mac software backed by a marketing prowess of Disney?

I like Apple, and I cant think of a better way to legitimize itself than to hook up with an entertainement congolmerate, flaunt the iMac as the true family PC, and just get people excited about the product.

Just a hypothetical of course. As disclaimer, I own DIS and think it is a solid buy at this low 30 range.
