Hi Victor: Have you sold any of your long positions on Novell? I am looking at having my final position called away from me in January. I sold the $17 1/2 calls for $ 1 1/2. Last March I sold my large position in Novell and was paid $2.00/share to buy SUNW stock at $40.00. Last time I looked SUNW was trading at $85!

I still believe that SUNW's management is more focused on growth and is more of an INTERNET play that Novell. I am not convinced that Novell has found a solution to expand their revenues with new products and really do not believe Netware can grow like it has in the past.

I feel lucky that I was able to lock in an annualized 20% gain on my current Novell shares even though I had to hold on to them for about three years.

As far as new monies, I am looking at PSFT, AFCI, MYLX and SJW. SJW is a value play and the others are special situations that IMO will yield a better (or equivalent) return than Novell going forward.

Are there any other technology stocks that you are presently buying?
