I am amazed at the number of posts on this thread! I was only away for a day... I agree about the glassware - proved it to myself that the Riedel crystal is really terrific and definitely makes a difference in the enjoyment of wine. The Wine Society here is planning a tasting comparing glassware in March. Should be interesting. I am the host. One Board member of the Society sent me an article from the NY Times that told of the latest thing in New York re glassware. People have started bringing their own glasses to restaurants.
