Shalom,

I speak to God through prayer on a daily basis. Sometimes a number times throughout the day. I appreciate the effort of making all of those posts, but I have to say that it still does not address tht question I had. to say that God wants to pardon us of our sins is fine and good. to say that we more or less make our own bed is also fine and good. It does not address the question of why and how eternal punishment is more beneficial in any sense than rehabilitation.

IMO, if one really looks at the question with an open mind, there is absolutely NO way that it makes any sense. the only way is if you attribute motives like revenge and vengence to God. If you do that, you then have to ask yourself why or how God would feel that way.

I am not saying this to create any discomfort for any believers. I only try to explain my own thought process and reasoning, with the curiosity, intellect, and free will, that has been given to me by God.

Mark
