El: When you think about it, it seems logical to assume that even Compaq doesn't know when it will report yet. I'm guessing that they'll announce a definite report date around 1/6 - at that point they'll have all their data in and will know how long it's going to take to get it ready.

I also expect that that's when the earnings "leaks" will start.
