Jim. Amati's DSLAM press release mentioned that it can increase or
decrease the output power depending on the quality and length of
the line. Do you know if this power adaptive feature has priority over
rate adaptive? I guess what I am trying to say is if a line is not too
good will the system boost the power first to max. ouput and if that
is not good enough it will lower the rate.

How difficult it is to implement the dual channel feature as stated
in the press release? Is there a difference in behaviour between
data and video channels that requires special treaments?
