RE: 401(k) trading. There is another alternative to employees who wish to trade equities with the money in their 401(k)--change employers and roll the 401(k) into a self-directed IRA. That turns out to be one of the top benefits I have realized from leaving an employer in 1995. I have been able to triple my 401(k) seed money, but, in this market, everyone is a genius. <g>
