That is why there are elected officials to make choices that the people would not necessarily make themselves to uphold the integrity and honor(Lying under oath upholds neither of these) of our country.

If the majority of the people don't like the outcome, they can vote out the "transgressors for morality".

Market crash: That is the same scare tactic the White House has used about impeachment. However, two weeks after impeachment in the House the Dow is flirting with a new high. IMHO if he is impeached in the Senate the market will drop, but will recover in a few weeks.
